In all the projects my mom, Ian, and I did, I think this is the one that had the most impact on the room! I love how it turned out.

the nursery

While my mom was here we cranked out some projects! On the docket was painting the nursery. Here are some before and after pictures. What a difference it makes to paint the walls! Now we will have to add a little pink to the room for little Ruthie.

You've all been waiting for the BIG news...

The results are in folks. We are happy to announce:

IT'S A GIRL!!!! We are so excited to welcome Ruthie Grace into our home sometime near the end of September.

"YAY!!! I get a sister!!!!"

Everything in the ultrasound looked great! She weighs about 8oz and is measuring right on track. Her heart rate was low like her momma's, 138. She was sucking her thumb just like Jobie was in his ultrasound. So fun. We can't wait to meet our little bundle of joy!
